This Checklist provides you with our recommended articles to set up your Vector 8 Devices, OpenField account and software in preparation for collecting Live Vector 8 data in OpenField Console and Vector Live iPad app.
Each step in the checklist should be completed sequentially. The checklist is divided into sections to cover:

Collecting Live Data in Vector Live iPad App
- Sync down changes made on Console or Cloud to Vector Live - How to Sync Changes to Vector Live
- If running a standalone (Console-less) session, connect Receiver to Vector Live and commence live activity - Getting Started with Vector Live
- Standalone Vector Live activities will be created automatically in the cloud when Vector Live app is synced post-session, and aggregated against device data uploaded from Vector 8 dock
- If streaming standalone session to multiple iPads - Streaming Vector Live to Multiple iPads
- If data is also to be collected on OpenField Console and streamed to Vector Live - 4G/Internet Stream or Local Stream
Post-Session Actions
OpenField Console and Vector 8 Dock
Note: It does not matter what order these steps are performed. OpenField Console can be synced before or after devices are connected to the Vector 8 dock to upload data to cloud.
- Connect Vector 8 Devices to Vector 8 Dock to upload device data to Cloud - Uploading Data from Vector 8 Devices to Cloud
- If you are experiencing WiFi connectivity issues or working behind a captive portal (e.g. hotel or stadium network), use the Vector Desktop App to transfer data via USB from the Dock to your Windows PC.
- In OpenField Console, perform any other activity edits as desired
