Background
If you are having issues with devices connecting to the computer, you can use the checking tool to identify which one of your devices is not connected to the computer.
NOTE - The device Dock_Enumeration_Check.bat should NEVER be run with OpenField running.
Setup Steps
- Go to the website https://vision-projects.catapultsports.com/athlete-devices/index.html and sign in on to your region's server.
- Once you are signed in, you can download the device enumeration check zip folder, extract the zip folder, and move the folder to a location that is easy to access.
-
(Optional step) If you want the program to show device jersey numbers you can upload your mapping file to the website by exporting your mapping from the Console - How to Import/Export Device Mappings
-
(Optional step) Upload the mapping export to the website, download the CSV file that is created, and add it to the dock enumeration folder.
- Open the folder from the location where you saved it and click the Dock_Enumeration_Check.bat file.
- An HTML file will automatically open in your default browser. This will identify which slot is empty (oriented with the power button on the top right), which devices have alarms set (will show as red if alarm time is outside of 24 hours of the current time), and will indicate which devices/jersey numbers that are currently not within the dock.
Additional Notes
- If mappings are edited and you want the most up-to-date jersey numbers, you will have to redo steps 3 and 4.
- You will need to run the batch file after you reinsert or add devices. The HTML website does not automatically update.
