As part of the OpenField Console 3.12.0 release, a selection of Metabolic Power parameters can be viewed live in the Console for GPS sessions.
This article outlines the steps required to ensure you can detect Metabolic Power parameters during your live activities on OpenField Console.
OpenField Account Configuration
In order to view Metabolic Power parameters live in the Vector Live app, your account must have the Gen2MetabolicPower module applied to it.
Please contact Support to request this module to be added to your account.
Minimum Required OpenField Console and Device Firmware Version
OpenField Console Version
- OpenField Console version 3.12.0 or higher
The latest version of OpenField Console can be installed in the Download tab via OpenField Cloud.

Device Firmware Version
- Device firmware version 8.8.0 or higher
The latest available device firmware can be applied to connected devices via the Device Upgrade tile in OpenField Console - see How to update device firmware for more information.
Please note to apply firmware version 8.8.0 or higher to your devices you must first download and install OpenField Console version 3.12.0 or higher.

Ensure you have set and reviewed Metabolic Power settings to apply to devices and Vector Live.

Metabolic Power Parameters in OpenField Console
Metabolic Power parameters can be viewed during your live session and post download in Console Widgets.
These parameters are available to add to widgets in the Met Power and Metabolic Power Bands parameter groups:
