What is the Cricket Analytics Suite?
The Cricket Analytics Suite developed by Catapult uses inertial sensor derived algorithms to detect Cricket specific events, such as Deliveries. Identification of these events allows for a host of Cricket specific bowling Parameters to be defined. Thereby, allowing practitioners to make more informed decisions on load management whilst also providing Cricket specific performance insights.
How to setup the Cricket Analytics Suite?
- An OpenField Cricket module and plugin must be applied to your account. If you want to add the module/plugin please contact support for assistance.
- The default Team's sport must be set to Cricket:
- Navigate the OpenField Cloud > Settings > Teams.
- Click on the Team to be edited.
- Select Cricket from the Sport drop down menu.
- For collecting and analyzing Cricket data live, Vector S7 devices with 6.10 [Cricket] firmware are needed as well as an OpenField console version 2.4 or later.
