Preparing Vector Devices for a Session

1. Ensure the Vector Devices are fully charged - Charging Vector Devices.
2. Ensure the Vector Receiver is fully charged if you are connecting the Receiver to the computer via WiFi - Charging Vector Receiver 
3. Map the Vector Devices to athletes in the OpenField console - Assigning/Mapping Devices to Athletes. 
4. Connect the Vector Devices to OpenField to Receive Band Settings per mapped Athlete. Ensure OpenField is open while Devices are connected - How to connect Vector Devices to the Computer.

5. Turn on the Vector Devices individually by pressing and holding the power button on the each  Device for > 5 seconds.

   or 

   Turn on all Vector Devices simultaneously using the Device Ignition/Quick Start feature - Vector Dock - Device Ignition/Quick Start Feature.

6. Leave Vector Devices outside for 10 minutes to achieve stable GPS lock in given environment (if using Devices outdoors to collect GPS data)
7. Distribute Devices to Athletes to placed into vests.
8. Connect Receiver to PC/OpenField via WiFi or USB cable - How to Connect the Vector Receiver to the Computer.
9. From the OpenField console, select 'Start' from the main tile menu to start a new Live Session.
10. Right click on the Activity Timeline and select New Activity. Name the Activity and select a Day Code.
11. Select the Device Type. For more information on Device Types - Activity/Device Type Selection - GPS, LPS, INERTIAL.
12. Click Create Activity.
13. Press the Play button in the top right corner of the console to start recording live.
