Period Templates allow you to pre-define and quickly apply specific periods and their associated tags to your sessions within the Editor. This feature streamlines your post-session workflow by allowing you to build a reusable library of drills and activities.

Note: The Period Admin section has been renamed to Period Templates in the Settings menu. You can still utilise the list of period names within the console in line with previous behaviour. Automatic application of Names AND Tags only applies to the Editor.
Using Period Templates in the Editor
Applying a template
If you are reviewing a session post-activity, you can quickly apply your predefined templates to new periods.
- Navigate to the Editor.
- Begin creating a new Period on the Timeline.
- In the Period Name field, type the name of an existing template.
- Select the template from the dropdown list to automatically populate the associated tags.
- Click the tag icon next to the Period Name to review the assigned categories.
- Click Apply to Period.
Creating a new template
You can create new templates on the fly directly from the Editor if you modify an existing drill or create a new one.
- In the Editor, assign your desired tags to a Period.
- Click the tag icon to open the Edit Tags menu.
- Click Create Template at the bottom of the window.
- Enter a unique Template Name.
- Click Create to save the template to your library for future use.
Managing Period Templates in Settings
You can manage your entire drill library, categorise templates, and create new tag options from the Settings menu.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Select Period Templates from the left-hand menu.
- Review your existing templates and their default standard tag categories.
- Click Manage Tags in the top right corner to configure your custom tags.
- Select + Add next to Tag Categories to create a new category.
- Select + Add next to Tags to create specific tags for that category.
- Click Save to confirm your changes.
