How to Measure Your Athletes
To ensure a proper fit of the Women's Vector Elite 2.2 Vest, we recommend measuring the Underbust and Bust circumference of your athletes and following the size guide below.
Underbust fit is most important to ensure you get the best heart rate (HR) signal possible as the heart rate data is derived from the inbuilt sensors in the vest. As with any heart rate monitor, the application to the skin needs to be firm, while ensuring it is not uncomfortable or restrictive. In high impact and contact sports this is particularly important as any movement of the HR sensor over the skin will introduce noise and reduce the quality of the data.
In comparison to our other garments, the Women's sizing is approximately one size different. As an example, if the athlete has previously worn a Vector Elite 2.1 Small, they will likely require a Women's Medium. We recommend measuring to optimize fit.
Step 1: Measure
Measure the circumference of the athlete's Underbust and Bust, keeping the measuring tape horizontal.
Step 2: Find Your Size
Use the chart below to determine your size based on your measurements. If you are on the border of two sizes, we recommend opting for the smaller size. This will ensure the vest is tight fitting, providing excellent contact between the heart rate sensors and the skin.
