How do I Download the Vector Remote Athlete App?
The Vector Remote Athlete App is available for iPhone and Android. The Vector Remote Athlete App can be downloaded from the Apple Store on your iPhone or from the Google Play store on your Android device.
What Username and Password do I use for the Vector Remote Athlete App?
Each Remote Athlete App Account must be set up by the main user from the main OpenField Account.
The main user would have created the Remote Athlete Account for you. Upon creation of the Remote Athlete Account a registration email would have been sent to your email or the main user's email depending on which Email was used to create the Remote Athlete Account. From this email the Password for the Account would have been created. If you did not receive a Registration Email for your account, please contact the main user of your OpenField Account for these details before contacting support.
How do I set and view Targets for my Activity?
Activity Targets are data values that you want to reach within an Activity.
How to Set Targets
Tap the Data Screen.
Tap the three dots in the top right corner of the screen.
Beneath each element adjust the slider to the value you want to set for your Target.
How to View if Targets have been reached
Tap the Data Screen
Tap the Target Icon in the top right corner of the screen
If a Target is reached the bar reflecting the accumulated data for a Parameter will turn red and a % of Target will appears at the end of the bar.
Why can't I see my Name in the Athlete List when Mapping?
If you can't see you name in the Mappings list, this indicates that your athlete profile has not been added to the main user account. Please reach out to the main user of the account and request that they add you to the main Account. Once the athlete profile has been added to the main account, you will have to sync the Vector Remote Athlete App with the Cloud. To do this please follow these steps:
From the Remote Athlete App, navigate to the Device Screen.
Tap the Settings Cog in the top right corner of the screen.
Tap 'Sync with Cloud'.
When prompted to continue, click 'OK'.
Why can't I see an Athlete's Activities on the Cloud after a Cloud sync?
The Vector Remote Athlete App does not sync Activities captured by the App to the OpenField Cloud. This is because the Remote Athlete Account is not enabled for Cloud or Console Access.
Will the Downloaded File take up space on my Phone?
The Downloaded file will automatically be deleted if it is not saved to your phone after the download. Once Downloaded, the File will remain in the Download Screen for 24 hours before you have to Download the file again in order to share it. With this setup, no space will be used if you are sharing the file only. To save a Downloaded File to your phone, tap Save to Files from the Share screen.
What is the Maximum Range between your Mobile and the Vector Device(s)?
The maximum range at which the Vector Device will still get picked up by your Mobile through Bluetooth is 50m but can be influenced by bodies in between the Mobile and the Device. It is recommended that the Mobile be within 30m of your Device for the most stable Bluetooth connection.
