Can I share devices between Vector CORE and Vector PRO/CORE+ accounts?
Yes. Depending on if you want to view the data live or post you would need to do the following:
For Live - Prior to activity
- Vector CORE: devices must be placed in the Dock
- Vector PRO/CORE+: devices must be placed in the Dock AND connected to OpenField Console prior to the activity. See more details below.
For Post - Prior to download
Users can only download the same file multiple times using the Console currently. In order to have the data in both accounts, download into Vector CORE prior to downloading in Vector PRO/CORE+ using OpenField Console using the steps provided below.
Can devices from a CORE user be shared with a PRO/CORE+ account to use live data and vice versa, if connected prior to the activity?
Yes. The encryption keys for the respective accounts will get set under the following conditions:
- Vector PRO/CORE+ device is plugged into the Vector CORE Dock and enumerated before a live session.
Note: You will know this is successful because the device will show via a BLE scan for mapping in Catapult Vector App.
- Vector CORE device is plugged into a PRO/CORE+ Dock AND connected to an OpenField Console.
Can data be downloaded by both a PRO and CORE account?
Yes. When device data is downloaded we mark the file as transferred on the device. This is to prevent duplicate files being downloaded. Due to this you cannot download the same raw file easily between Core and Pro. However:
- If you've downloaded a file on CORE first: you can plug the device into OpenField Console, select Data Transfer and check the 'Always Download'. This will reset the tag metadata and download all files from the device again.
Note: To be more efficient use the Transfer range function so you don't get ALL sessions, but just those you're interested in.
- If you've downloaded a file on PRO first: currently there is no way for a CORE user to initiate a download of a raw file that has been previously marked as downloaded.
