Assigning Devices to Athletes for a Specific Activity

In OpenField Cloud, devices can be unmapped from Athletes, and unmapped devices mapped to an Athlete for a specific activity only.

All other device Athlete mapping will take place on the Catapult Vector app, such as mapping devices to Athletes to set bands on devices.

To assign devices to Athletes for a specific activity:

1. In OpenField Cloud, load the desired activity in the Editor page.
2. Hover over an Athlete card to view their currently mapped device.
   

3. To unassign an Athlete, click on the Athlete card and select the more '...' icon -> Unmap Athlete button at the top of the Athlete panel.
   
   

   Note: only one Athlete can be unmapped at a time. If more than one Athlete cards are selected the Unmap button will be greyed out.
    
4. When the Athlete is unmapped their Athlete card will no longer appear, and their previously mapped device will appear in an Unmapped Devices section.
   
   
    

5. To assign an unmapped device to an Athlete, click on an unmapped device card and select the Map button.
   
   

   Note: only one unmapped device can be mapped at a time. If more than one unmapped device cards are selected the Map button will be greyed out.
    
6. Select the desired Athlete to map the device to. A list of unmapped and mapped athletes will be available.
7. If an unmapped Athlete is selected, the device is mapped to the Athlete, the unmapped device card is removed and the mapped Athlete appears as an Athlete card. A confirmation message, similar to the one below, will be displayed.
   
   If a mapped Athlete is selected, the device is mapped to the Athlete and the device that Athlete was previously mapped to will appear as an unmapped device. A confirmation message, similar to the one below, will be displayed.
