To ensure that the Heart Rate data is being collected you need to set your devices for Polar Heart Rate monitoring as follows:
- Bluetooth is ENABLED
- Bluetooth HR is DISABLED
- Integrated HR is DISABLED
How to Change the Settings for Polar Heart Rate Straps
Note If you regularly switch between Polar Heart Rate straps and vests with integrated HR, you need to adjust the below settings for the Polar straps each time before using the devices in a session.
To enable integrated HR monitoring please see How to Enable Integrated Heart Rate.
- In the OpenField Console, navigate to Settings > Device Manager.
- Connect the devices via the Docking Station and make sure the Dock is turned on.
- Check to make sure the devices have Bluetooth Enabled set to True by clicking on the Selected Property dropdown menu. If it is set to False, tick the device ID on the left hand side and click Execute next to Enable Bluetooth.
- Ensure that Bluetooth HR Enabled is set to False using the same steps as above.
- Ensure that Integrated HR Enabled is set to False.
- Sync whilst your devices are connected and make sure the settings have been saved.
