The SportsMedia Technology (SMT) Connection is an enhanced version of the 'OpenField Connection,' replacing the OpenField Console SMT Import functionality. It integrates your OpenField account directly with the SMT API, enabling the creation of activities and the automatic import of SMT athlete-positional data - all within a fully web-based interface.

The SMT Connection will check the SMT API every 5 minutes for any new games and data available for your team*

An Activity with periods and on-ice shifts as annotations will be created for each new game that is available for your team
