What is the Multi User Feature?
OpenField's Multi User Feature allows for multiple Users of a single Account to be installed on individual PC's. These Sub User's are then able to sync data up to the same Cloud.
Why use Multi User?
The Multi User feature is fantastic for team's that share units between multiple Teams, who may be in different physical locations for their Training Sessions or Matches. The OpenField User for each team is easily able to collect data locally on the console, and then sync their data to a common Cloud, so all data for the Organisation is stored in one location!
Multi User is also great if multiple OpenField Users require use of the same Console Account on a separate PC. The Multi User feature essentially allows the same account to be installed on multiple PC's with individual Sub Users.
- A user is now able to use multiple Consoles (Sub Users) with one Cloud account, allowing each user to make changes, sync and download sessions simultaneously, without database conflict or errors.
See guide Setting up Multi User for your Account for how to set up your account with Multi User functionality.
- Users sharing devices within an organisation will no longer need to download all files from a device to get their specific sessions.
See guide Sharing Devices Between Users for more information.
- Users can share activities and data on the console using a permissions and ownership structure.
See guide Activity Ownership for more information.
