How to download Data onto multiple Accounts
In an organisation with shared devices between teams (e.g. Senior and Development squads) we have a feature that allows selective downloading from your devices.
Your devices will now recognize if they have previously downloaded and by default will not download these files. This is to ensure you do not needlessly download sessions from the device which you do not require, easing space requirements on your local PC.
If you wish to data onto multiple accounts, please follow the below instructions:
-
Navigate to the Data Transfer screen on the OpenField Console in which you want to download the data onto.
-
Before starting the Transfer, click the box next to Always Download to ensure it has a check mark.
-
Select Begin Transfer.
How to select which Activities are Downloaded across multiple Accounts
To further assist the selection of the appropriate sessions, there is a functionality to select an appropriate time range from a drop-down menu as pictured below. These ranges include the past hour, day or week and a default range which will download all activities that haven't yet been downloaded onto that account without any time restrictions.
For Example: Team A has performed a session in the AM and passes their devices to Team B immediately post session to record a session in the PM. Immediately following training, Team B downloads their data only by selecting 'Past Hour' from the ‘Transfer Range’ feature. This ensure that they will not download the other teams data. If the Always Download box is not checked, Team A will not download Team B’s sessions as they have already been downloaded. If they wish to download Team B's data, they will need to tick or select "Always Download" before downloading.
