This guide explains how to stream your ClearSky activity to your iPad and includes specific notes on creating periods for ClearSky activities.
Streaming your ClearSky Activity to your iPad
- On the iPad, open the Vector Live app and log in with the same Catapult account as you are using on the laptop.
- Connect both the Catapult laptop and iPad to a WiFi internet network, for example: Campus/Facility WiFi.
- On the OpenField Console, right click on any white space within a Dashboard then click New Widget > Live Stream > Remote Internet/4G.
- Press Play on the Remote Internet/4G transmit widget.
- On the iPad, log in with the same credentials as you are using on the laptop. Open Vector Live app, you will be prompted to join the session in progress.
- Select iPad Connection Type: Streaming.
- Use Remote Internet Connection: Toggle ON.
- Select your streaming mode: if you want to create, edit and delete periods from the Vector Live app, select Edit as your streaming mode. If you want to view data only, click View.
- Edit Mode – will allow you to add players to the PIP, create periods (GPS only – LPS periods must be created from the laptop) and stop periods.
- View Mode – will allow you to see the live data, but you will not be able to edit periods as above.
Notes
- The transmit widget will display 'Transmitting Data to Vector Live' when a connection to the app is active.
- When streaming to iPad, LPS (ClearSky) periods can only be created within the OpenField Console on the Laptop. GPS periods can be created on either the iPad app or the OpenField Console.
- If you want to connect multiple iPads to the same Activity, please see How to view and edit Live Data on Multiple iPads.
- Please see the 4G/Internet Streaming From Console to Vector Live for more information on using the Remote/4G widget to stream.
