What is the Catapult Sports Folder?
The Catapult Sports Folder is a Folder created in your Windows User's default 'Documents' directory, upon first installing the OpenField Console.
Generally, the Path will be C:\Users\SpecificUser\Documents\Catapult Sports
The Catapult Sports folder by default contains the Local Console Database files, stored Raw Files and OpenField Data Files (used to load data when opening an Activity), Log files for Catapult Support troubleshooting and more.
PC/I.T. Requirements of the Catapult Sports Folder
The Catapult Sports folder must be located in the 'Documents' directory, and be named exactly 'Catapult Sports', in order for the Console Application/Software to find the Local Database files within it, to be able to launch and function correctly.
Issues arise with OpenField not being able to open due to the Catapult Sports folder being manually moved or misplaced, out of the 'Documents' directory of the Windows User.
It is recommended for this folder to be fully controllable by the Windows User that is using OpenField.
Club I.T staff may have strict access restrictions in place for some Folders, and this can occasionally cause problems with some portions of OpenField's operation, if applied to the Catapult Sports Folder.
