Why Bake/Reprocess an Activity?
An Activity Bake or 'Rebake' will apply new settings synced down from the Cloud, to that Activity. For example an Athlete's Bands or Position may be changed; these changes will apply to all future activities, but to be applied to past activities, the activity requires 'Rebaking'.
Performing an Activity Bake is also a good troubleshooting step whenever data is not appearing for a given activity.
Types of Bakes/Reprocesses
Fast Bake: Will aggregate data for the activity, and apply changes such as editing period times/athletes/athlete rotations or changes to athlete bands.
Full Bake: Reprocesses data and the raw files for the activity, to be used when changes have been made to IMA Version Settings or Sports Plugins (Algorithm detection).
How to Bake/Reprocess a Single Activity
-
In the Console, open the activity by selecting the activity from the Activities Menu.
-
Right-click on the Activity Bar (orange bar) and select Reprocess/Bake Activity.
-
Select Fast or Full depending on the changes you have made to the Activity.
-
Changes will be applied to the Cloud the next time you perform a Sync.
How to Bake/Reprocess Multiple Activities
Occasionally, you may wish to apply changes made to settings on the Cloud to multiple Activities (e.g. an entire Season). Multiple Activities can be rebaked/reprocessed by Catapult Support team, for either a Date Range, or All activities.
Please contact Support to arrange a Bulk Rebake/Reprocess of your activities.
