How to Record a Live activity via the OpenField+ (iPad) App

Open the App, enter in the same username and password you use to log into the OpenField console.

Select the region your account is assigned to.

In the OpenField console, start a live activity (See guide Recording a Live Activity for more information).

In the OpenField Console, create a new Transmit Widget by right clicking on any white space outside of a widget on the Dashboard, then click New Widget. Select Transmit, then select 'OF+ Livecast'.

Press the Play button on the OF+ Livecast widget to start transmitting data to the iPad. The Transmit Widget will display 'Transmitting Data to OF + Live' when a connection to the Cloud is active.

Check the Console to iPad connection. If the Waiting for Data Icon appears in the top right corner of the screen on the App, check your internet connection on the iPad. Ensure Wi-Fi is activated on both the Computer and the iPad.

Create a new Period in the App by pressing the + Period button in the top left corner.
- Click the 30s Prev. icon to only show data from the last 30 seconds in the Parameter tables. NOTE: A yellow 30s Prev. icon indicates that the feature is enabled. A black icon indicates that it is turned off.

To add players to the Period, ensure the Period is selected by tapping the Period in the Activity Timeline View. Tap the Select Player Menu on the right hand side to add players to the selected period. Tap the players you want to add to the Period by tapping their number, first name or last name under the Active Players or any of the group boxes. Select ALL or NONE if you wish all or none of the athletes to be added to the Period. Tap Apply.
