Creating a Venue for the First Time

First Time Creation

For any activity that has not yet had a venue created/assigned, you will receive a notification for an Undefined Venue.

Creating a Venue

1. Navigate to the Athlete in Activity section within the Reporting page of the Cloud.
   
   Note: access to venue creation from the Editor coming soon.
2. Click on either the Set Venue or Edit buttons to create your venue.
   
3. Now you can create your venue.  From this window you can see the following options:
   • Athlete Data Displayed - When accessed from the Athlete in Activity report, this field is automatically selected as the athlete from within the report and shows the raw trace of the athlete overlaid on the map. 
   • Venue Name - Enter a Venue Name of your choice.  You can go back and update this at any point, but it will be used to select your venue in the future.
     
   • Venue Type - Here you can select your Venue Type based on your sport.
     
4. Select your Venue Type.
5. Use the handles to resize and rotate your venue.
   
   Pro Tip: Before resizing, drag your venue to align the centre of the overlay with the centre of your pitch/field on the map.
   
6. Enter a name for your Venue.
7. Hit Save.
8. Hit Confirm.
