Learn how Catapult’s hardware ecosystem works together to support data collection, live monitoring, and session uploads. This video explains how to use the Vector 7 Dock for charging, data transfer, and device management, how to interpret LED indicators on the dock and Vector S7 devices, and how to set up the Vector Receiver for live data capture.
Reminders
- The Vector 7 Dock can hold up to 24 GPS devices (X7, G7, S7) and supports charging, firmware updates, and session data downloads via PC.
- Dock runtime: ~90 minutes.
- The dock has two operating states: On (data transfer and battery-powered operation) and Mains Connected (enables device charging and full functionality).
- Devices placed in a powered-on dock connected to a PC via USB automatically download session data.
- Ignition mode allows devices to start recording automatically when removed from a powered-on dock and return to idle when reinserted.
- Alarms can be set to automatically power on your device at a scheduled time. Please note: for the alarm to trigger, the device must either be removed from the dock or the dock itself must be switched off.
- Vector 7 device runtime: ~6 hours, depending on usage.
- The Vector Receiver enables live data capture to iPad or Console.
- Receiver battery runtime: ~6 hours.
- Receivers can connect via USB or WiFi and include a tripod mounting plate for pitch side setup.
