What is a USB Booster?
The USB Booster allows multiple charge cases to be used at the same time, greatly improving processing time.
It also ensures all devices in the one case can be detected by your PC, in case your PC is unable to handle 28 USB COM ports at the same time.
How to use the USB Booster?
To activate your USB Booster, connect to your computer through USB Connector B with the cable supplied. Once your computer has finished downloading drivers for the USB Booster, connect it to a charge case via the USB Connector A.
OpenField will now be able to connect to all monitors in the charge case.
Do not remove OptimEye monitors while downloading. The USB Booster removes the need for a USB hub - do not connect the USB Booster or charge case to a USB hub. If you encounter any problems, remove power to the device by unplugging, and then restart by plugging back into your computer.
The USB Booster is not waterproof or designed for high impacts or rough treatment.
When you first plug in the USB Booster and Windows installs the network card driver, it takes several minutes.
There are four different types, with different internal addresses. The unit type can be found on the label on the back. Do not use USB Boosters of the same type simultaneously.
