Vector 8 Dock supports the configuration of multiple WiFi networks, with auto connection to saved networks on Dock startup.
After setting up your Dock for the fist time you can add and remove networks from the WiFi page in Dock Info.
WiFi configuration requires a Bluetooth connection between Catapult Vector and Vector 8 Dock. Ensure your Dock is turned on and in Bluetooth range to configure networks.
Scanning for WiFi networks
The Catapult Vector app requests a network scan from the Dock, the Dock scans for networks and returns the results to the app.
The Dock will auto scan for networks in range every 15 seconds, indicated by the spinner in the top right corner of the page.
The Dock will also return the active and saved networks as part of this scan.
- Selecting WiFi from the Hardware info page, will trigger a BLE connection between Catapult Vector and Vector 8 Dock.
- On page load the Dock will scan for WiFi networks, indicated by the spinner in the top right corner of the screen.
- The App will show networks in 3 different categories, after the initial scan:
- Current Network - The network the Dock is currently connected to
- My Networks - Networks the Dock has saved, and are in range, available for connection
- Other Networks - Networks the Dock has scanned and are available for configuration

Switching Networks
- Selecting a network from the My Networks list (saved and in range) will swap the active network to the selected.

Deleting WiFi networks from the Dock
- Selecting Edit from the My networks section of the page will request the saved network list from the Dock. These networks will present in a list with a delete button.
- Pressing the delete button will remove this network from the Dock.
If a saved WiFi network is updated with a new password, you will need to remove the network and configure it again.
