Lets start the AMS discussion!
Back to where it started with regards to Athlete Management Systems (AMS) for Catapult...
“In 2017, Catapult acquired the SportsMedElite and Baseline athlete management system (AMS) products from Brisbane-based SMG technologies (SMG) in order to bring in technical knowledge and experience regarding athlete management systems.
Catapult AMS is the product born out of this acquisition and several product iterations made since by Catapult itself. The technology is a cloud-based platform that acts as a store of team and athlete data as it integrates squad management tools, player wellness metrics, injury and medical record, wearable data, and video.”
...I’d be interested in getting other people’s opinions and examples of use on athlete management systems. Don’t worry if it is not Catapult AMS, I fully accept that there are alternatives out there.
- What are the features that you particularly enjoy using?
- If you’re a coach, how has it benefited you, your team and/or program?
- Are there any tools you wish were included in AMS?
Whatever your opinions, thoughts and/or views, I’d be keen to start conversations with the intention to develop my understanding as to how AMS is used by others in the industry.
I look forward to hearing from you!
