'Peaks' refer to either the peak velocity or peak power outputs achieved in a repetition.
*NOTE*: The peak value expresses the peak output obtained during the concentric, not the eccentric, portion of the lift.
During a set, you will see only the peak velocity of each repetition. Post-set however you may select which quality you would like to review peaks for in the Summary & Analytics screen (see below for examples of both velocity and power screen display selections with 'Peaks' enabled):
In comparison, average velocity and average power represent the mean (average) velocity of the concentric portion of the repetition. The Summary & Analytics Screen also provides a total set average for both velocity (Set Velocity) and power (Set Power) at the bottom of each screen as can be viewed in the images above. This value computes the mean (average) velocity or power of all the average (not peak) concentric outputs for each repetition within the set being viewed.
Enabling 'Real Time Peaks' allows peak velocity to be shown in real time as each repetition is completed, with comparative metrics relative to the prior completed repetition being displayed in real-time as well.
To access the option to toggle 'Peaks' and 'Real Time Peaks' on/off click the features PUSH Band icon on the top right-hand side of your screen (above red arrow in below image):
This will take you to the below screen, where you can toggle 'Show Peaks' and 'Real Time Peaks' on/off and return to or begin your Session after selection:
