When Playertek Pods are having issues picking up Heart Rate data, Product Support Technicians may ask  if a 'coded.txt' file is on the pod.

How to see if a Pod has coded.txt file:

• Connect the pod to the PC. The pod will then show up as a drive under 'This PC'.
• From here, click into the drive and files on the pod will display,

Firstly, it is important to ensure file extensions are ticked, you can check this by going to View > File Name Extensions and ensuring this is ticked:

Once here, scroll to the bottom of the PT USB drive and check to see if 'coded.txt' show like the image below:

Please compare this across multiple working and non-functioning pods to see if there are any differences.
