What is a Proximity Report
The Proximity Report aims to provide objective information on physical distancing and serve as a guide for teams and coaches as they return to training. Proximity is calculated using the available athlete tracking data and reports the accumulated time and number of incursions in close proximity of other athletes.
How to create a Proximity Report
- Ensure the ProximityReport module has been added to your account. If you want to add the module to your account, please contact support.

Navigate to the OpenField Cloud and click Settings.

From the Settings menu select the Activity Admin tab.

Click the check box beside any Activity you want to create a Proximity Report for.

Select the blue Proximity Report button in the bottom right corner of the Activity Admin menu.

From the Request Proximity Report menu, enter in an email that you want to send the Proximity Report to.

To adjust any of the proximity report settings, click the check box beside Advanced Settings.

Proximity Zone (m) - The distance from an athlete that is considered close proximity in which the accumulated time and number of incursions is reported on.

Proximity time threshold (min) - Threshold for minutes accumulated in close proximity.

Proximity dwell time (sec) - The amount of time that an athlete needs to remain in the Proximity Zone of another athlete before an incursion occurs.

Generate Vision CSV - Generates a CSV of the proximity report data to be imported into Vision.

Generate Proxmity CSV - Generates a CSV of the proximity report data.

Zip report - compresses the Proximity report to improve the efficiency of file sharing.

Click Request Report to generate and send the Proximity Report to the nominated email address.
Please allow a few minutes for the Proximity Report to generate. The amount of time may vary depending on the number of athletes and duration of the Activity.
