What is a High-Frequency Export?
The high-frequency export from OpenField allows you to export the raw data from the accelerometer, gyroscope & GPS sensors on a player by player, activity by activity basis to CSV. This type of export is typically only recommended for research purposes as for a typical session for a single athlete you can have over 750,000 rows of data.
How to Export Data for Activities
- In the OpenField Console click the Data Transfer tile from the main menu.
- Click Stop Transfer.
- Click Export CSV.
Note: If you are unable to see the option to 'Export CSV' in the data transfer window please contact support via help request to ask to enable the 'High-Frequency Export' plugin on your account. - Click Begin Transfer.
- Once the session is downloaded and processed you can close OpenField.
- Navigate to file explorer on Windows
- Your CSV exports, broken down by the date of activity, will be saved to the My Documents --> Catapult Sports --> Analytics --> CSV --> (Year) --> (Month) --> (Date) folder area on your computer.
How to Export Data for Active Players
- Open an Activity in the OpenField Console.
- From the Active Players box, right click on the athlete you want to export High-Frequency data for.
- Select Export High Frequency CSV.Note: If you are unable to see the option to 'Export High Frequency CSV' please contact support via help request to ask to enable the 'High-Frequency Export' plugin on your account.
- Toggle Flatten Parameters and Pad Time to On.
- Click OK to proceed.
- Your export will be saved to the folder of your choice on your computer.
