The pod serial number will be requested by Technical Support when switching pods to different accounts, or any inquires about the pod.
How to Identify a PlayerTek Pod Without Stickers
If the stickers on a PlayerTek pod have been removed or are unreadable then please follow one of these methods to identify the pod.
Method 1
- Connect the pod to the computer (turned on).
- Open the Sync Tool.
- Click the settings icon on the right hand side.
- Take a photo of this settings menu and provide it to support when requested.
Method 2
- Connect the pod to the computer (turned on).
- Open the USB device.
- Open any folder beginning with "Ptek".
- Copy the "info_XXXX.conf" file.
- Send "info_XXXX.conf" file to support when requested.
