What are GPSports Splits?
GPSports Splits are a defined portion of time in a Session, of which Athletes are assigned to. Splits are most commonly used to define separate Drills in a Training session, or Quarters/Halves in a Match. Splits provide flexibility to view and filter data for particular portions of the Session.
Starting a Live Split with a default name and with selected Athletes automatically added to the Split:
- Click the Athlete Boxes from any of the Athlete Groups that you want to add to the Split. Note: Selected Athletes show up as underscored.
- Select '+Split' in from any of the Athlete Groups you want to add to the Split.
Starting a Live split with a default name and no Athletes added to the Split:
- Select the '+' button underneath the Sessions Timeline.
- Select Athletes from the Active Players Group to be added to the Split. Note: Selected Athletes show up as underscored.
- Click ‘+PlayersToSplit’ from any of the Athlete Group
Creating a Split with customised Name & Start/End Times:
- Right click on the Session Timeline Bar.
- Select 'New Split'
- Fill out required information
- Click 'CREATE SPLIT'
- Select Athletes from the Active Players Group to be added to the Split. Note: Selected Athletes show up as underscored.
- Click ‘+PlayersToSplit’ from the Active Players Group
NOTE: An Athlete is assigned to the Split when their athlete box appears in the Players In Split Box. Athletes can’t be added to two or more Splits that overlap.
Creating a Split (Click + Drag method):
- On the Session Timeline, hold 'Shift' and Click and Drag across the desired Time period. Release the mouse to define the split.
Editing a Split:
- Right click on the Split Timeline Bar you want to edit.
- Select 'Edit'
Deleting a Split:
- Right Click on the Split Timeline Bar you want to delete.
- Select 'Delete'
How to Stop a Split (Live Session):
Stopping all Splits at the same time:
- In the console, select the 'No Smoking' symbol below the session timeline.
Stopping a single Split:
- To stop only one Split and keep other Splits running, right click on the Split Timeline Bar on the Session Timeline for the Split you would to stop and select 'Stop'.
