What is a Cloud Widget?
A Cloud Widget is a configurable component of the Cloud primarily used to display Athlete Data via a Table, Graph etc.
How to Create a Cloud Widget
There are two ways to create a new Widget to show your Data. Start by clicking on an empty Widget Square and a dropdown list will appear with the options ‘Add new widget’ or ‘Wizard’.
1a. Select ‘Wizard’ to load our Widget Wizard which will guide you through the creation of a new Widget. It will also show you a preview of the Widget as you build it.
1b. Select ‘Add new Widget’ to load a blank Widget which you can then customize without any help. Please see How to Customize a Cloud Widget for further instructions.
How to View Specific Athletes in a Cloud Widget/PDF Report
- In the PIP or Team section, click the individual athlete boxes. If selecting from the Team Box, choose the desired team from the drop down menu and then click individual athlete boxes from that team.
- The individual athlete box will populate in the Selected box once the individual box is selected.
- The colour of the individual athlete box is determined by the team the athlete belongs to. Team colours are set in settings - Teams - edit - Primary Color and Secondary Color.
How to Customize a Cloud Widget
- Navigate to the widget settings menu by selecting the
icon in the top right hand corner of the widget. NOTE: The user will automatically be prompted to the widget settings menu when a new widget is created.

Basic Tab
Allows the User to set General settings for the Widget
a. Edits the title of the widget.
b. Edits the size of the widget in Widget Tile Size on Dashboard. Note: units equate to inches in the PDF export.
c. Will exclude whichever fields are selected.
d. Edits the type of widget the user would like to display. A drop down menu allows for a selection from different types of widgets available.
e .Selects whether or not comments are visible.
f. Inserts comments onto widget.
g. Primary row Label. (E.g Activity Selected = sorts data by activity)
h. Secondary row Label.(E.g Period Selected = sorts data by activity and then by period)
i. Tertiary row Label. (E.g Athlete Selected = sort data by activity, period then athlete)
j. Edits how data is sorted within rows (alphabetically, chronologically, ascending/descending).
The Result:
Parameters Tab
Allows the user to select the Parameters used for the widget.
The User an search for a Parameter within the list either Manually or via the Search Bar.
To select a Parameter for your Widget, double click or click and drag the Parameter to add to the 'Selected' section. The 'Selected' section indicates which parameters are to be displayed in the Widget.

Filters Tab
Allows the User to select which details to filter the data by
- Select which category to filter by from the left hand drop down menu (Tags, Athletes, Teams, Position etc.)
- Choose the filtering you want to apply (Select = to include only 'x', Select <> to exclude only 'x')
- Enter Which Specific Items to filter
- Select 'Add Filter' to apply the filter to the Widget.
- To edit an existing widget, select update.
Comparison Tab
Allows the User to select the Average Sets to compare to the Activity Data
a. Modifies the colour of display of the data dependent on the comparison to the average set data.
b. Selects which Average Set to compare the data to
c. Selects how the Average Set is compared to data

Formatting Tab
Allows the User to change the Colour Display of the Parameters and the name of the Series displayed
a. Select what parameters, sessions, periods, or athletes to apply formatting to.
b. Select what range to apply formatting to (can be either percentage or absolute values).
c. Select which format to use (can alter cell/row color, text color, or add a symbol).
d. Creates/eliminates, prioritizes formatting.
Table Options Tab
Allows the User to set advanced table settings for a Table widget
a. Text Colour: Sets the font colour for the data and the row labels
b. Display Comparison: Sets the location for comparative data. Comparative data came shown in columns next to session data or with the same cell as session data.
c. Limit Rows To: Sets the amount of view-able rows. NOTE: 0 = no restriction.
d. Limit Rows to PDF checkbox: Enables automatic widget resize to include all data in .pdf export
e. Horizontal Scroll checkbox: Enables horizontal scroll for table. Note: When disabled, all data is compressed to widget size.
f. Abbreviate Headers checkbox: Enables abbreviation of parameter headings.
g. Show parameters as rows: Sets the parameters to rows and athletes to columns on the Table.
h. Display Summary: checkbox adds the selected summary data to the table.
i. Alignment drop down menu: Formats text alignment with columns.
j. Decimal drop down menu: Enables how many decimal points are shown.
Options (Chart Widget Specific) Tab
Allows for specific formatting of charts
a. Enables radial graphing.
b. Switches X & Y axis.
c. Swaps parameters with category on graph axis.
d. Shows/hides y-axis.
e. Shows/hides data labels.
f. Shows/hides graph legends.
g. Stacks bars within graph.
h. Displays stacked data as total or as a percentage.
i. Selects whether or not y-axis is visible.
j. Formats name of y-axis.
k. Formats side y-axis is displayed on.
l. Sets minimum, maximum and interval for y-axis.
Series (Chart Widget Specific) Tab
Allows the User to change the color of the parameters, the display format and the name of the series displayed
a. Type: The user can can change the chart type for the specific series to one of the following: area, area-spline, column, line, pie, scatter or spline.
b. Y-Axis: Allows the user to select which axis they want the series displayed on.
c. Ord: Shows which order to display series in (only affected if series overlap).
d. Dec: Allows user to select how many decimals to display (rounds to the selected decimal)
e. Data Label/Z-Score/Trendline: Check boxes determines the output(s) of the Series
